Hail and well met. Welcome to the Galactic Empire, the only AOL-sponsored Empire on the net. We are excited that you have decided to join us in our quest to destroy the Rebellion. Included in this packet is a lot of important information.
The information in this packet should be read and understood before you make your first post on the boards. Any questions about this packet should be sent to your immediate commanding officer. Keep in mind that while certain parts of this packet may not seem as if they matter to you directly, that you should read all parts! Nothing included in here is superfluous.
Included in this .zip file are all the necessary files that you will need in order to familiarize yourself with the Galactic Realms universe and the Galactic Empire. Again, it would be prudent and wise for you to become familiar with this information before posting on the boards. Although some parts of this document you may feel do not pertain to you, you must be familiar with ALL parts. There is information about the bureaucracy that is important to military officers, and information about Rebel ships that even the Sith should be familiar with.
All files should be read inside America OnLine. Go to file>open and then locate the appropriate file.
Below is a list of the files.

6.) GRWBK26.hlp - This file is the universal source book, in the form of a help file. It includes ship statistics as well as the universal rules. Be sure you know this book inside and out! This is version 2.6 of the warbook, and therefore has been updated since the first release of this information packet. Version 2.6 differs GREATLY from version 2.5. Make sure you are aware of all the changes (they include new technologies as well as heavily changed statistics for the Imperial warships. They also include the new Trade Federation warships.).
